Another community event this week at the Senior Center - Annual Shred Day! Keep reading for more information.

Annual SHRED DAY, Saturday, June 1, 2013 from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm (noon) Rain or Shine at the Northampton Senior Center, 67 Conz St., Northampton For the benefit of the Northampton Senior Center.
Donations accepted based on the quantity of documents brought in. Your contribution will benefit the programs, services, and initiatives of the Senior Center.
Documents may contain stables, but items such as 3-ring binders, hanging file folders, large binder clips, vinyl, plastics, x-rays or other general waste products will be accepts for shredding.

Thank you to everyone who participated and came down to the Northampton Senior Center for the 11th Annual Health and Safey Fair, this past Thursday, May 23rd!! It was a success thanks to over 60 exhibitors who brought a great deal of information to share with everyone, the staff of the Senior Center and you the participants. Hope to see you at the 12th Annual Health & Safety Fair in 2014!


Update from the Travel Club at the Senior Center

The Travel Club would like to announce that the Lobster Playhouse trip scheduled for Tuesday, July 16, 2013 is SOLD OUT! Thank you to everyone and we hope you have a wonderful trip. Please keep reading Elder Vision, and stop by the Senior Center to see what other exciting trips are planned, and to see all the activities that are available at the Senior Center for your enjoyment. What's going on in addition to all the daily activities and programs at the Senior Center during the week of May 27th to June 1st

- Monday, May 27th - Senior Center will be closed in observance of Memorial Day. Reopening on Tuesday, May 28th at 8:15. Come on down!
- Wednesday, May 29th from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm - SAGE meeting
- Wednesday, May 29th at 2:00 pm - Play Reading Gropu with Roy Faudree from No Theatre All seniors welcome. This is a reading of excerpts from plays
- Wednesday, May 29th at 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm - Group Sing! Come join us with your wonderful voice (senior singers and non-singers) as a variety of wonderful music is sung by all.
